One of the defining aspects of the Rogers Centre is its massive retractable roof. It was the first of its kind in the world and I was lucky enough to see it in operation as the game ended (it's the final photo in this post). The Blue Jays are one of just two MLB teams that play on artificial turf and are the only major sport franchise in North America to have a hotel inside their stadium. There are 70 rooms that provide hotel guests a complete view of the stadium! It was great to see these unique things at the Rogers Centre but I also enjoyed seeing many of the same things I saw at stadiums in America. For the most part, attending a baseball game in Canada is like attending a baseball game in the U.S.A. Seeing a glimpse of that universality was a great experience.
Final Score: White Sox 4, Blue Jays 0
